Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Roxily, provided by CurrentOrbit LLC, collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use our app, website, and related services.

Roxily is built to help couples and housemates organize activities, reminders, routines, and shared household progress. Some information you add to Roxily may be visible to the people you invite into your shared space.

Information we collect

Account information, such as your name, email address, login provider identifiers, profile details, and avatar if you choose to add one.
Household and activity content, such as spaces, members, activities, routines, schedules, reminders, assignments, completion history, settings, and preferences.
Photos you choose to attach to an Activity, a note, or a thank-you. These are stored on our servers and visible to people in that shared space.
Voice messages you choose to record for a thank-you. These are stored on our servers and can be played by people in that shared space.
Device and app information, such as device type, operating system, app version, crash reports, diagnostics, logs, and approximate usage events.
Notification information, such as push notification tokens and notification preferences when you choose to enable reminders.
Subscription information, such as product identifiers, entitlement status, renewal status, and purchase metadata from app stores or subscription providers. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Website analytics information, such as page views and basic interaction events, when analytics is enabled for the website.

How we use information

To create and maintain your account and shared household spaces.
To sync activities, reminders, routines, assignments, and progress across your devices and invited members.
To send reminders, account messages, service updates, and support responses.
To provide subscription access, verify purchase status, and manage paid features.
To understand service usage, fix bugs, improve reliability, and protect Roxily from abuse or unauthorized access.
To comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only when needed to operate Roxily, provide the service, comply with law, or follow your instructions.

With people you invite into a shared space, based on the content and settings you choose.
With service providers that help us run Roxily, such as hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, notification, email, and subscription infrastructure.
With app stores or payment providers when needed to process and verify subscriptions.
By using our app and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, as part of our efforts to resolve refund requests.
When required by law, legal process, safety needs, or to protect the rights and security of Roxily and its users.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate protection for user information.

Third-party service providers

To run Roxily, we rely on a small number of companies that process information on our behalf. Each one receives only what it needs for its job and may not use your information for its own purposes. Our main providers are:

RevenueCat validates in-app purchases and keeps your subscription status in sync across your devices. It receives purchase receipts, product identifiers, entitlement status, and your Roxily user identifier, but not your full payment card details.
Stripe processes payments when you buy Premium on our website. You give your payment details and email address to Stripe directly. We never see or store your full card number.
Apple App Store and Google Play handle in-app purchases, billing, cancellations, and refunds under their own terms and privacy policies.
Sign in with Apple and Google let you log in without a password. When you use them, we receive your name (if you share it), email address, and a login identifier from Apple or Google.
PostHog helps us analyze how actively Roxily is used.
OneSignal delivers push notifications and reminders. It receives your push notification token, device information, and your Roxily user identifier.
Sentry collects crash and error reports so we can fix bugs. It receives crash details, device and app information, and your user identifier, name, and email address.
Cloudflare hosts our website and web app and stores the photos you attach in Roxily.

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website and web app use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure site activity. We do not use them for advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working.

Retention and deletion

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Roxily, maintain records, resolve disputes, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations.

You can request account deletion in the app from Settings, on the web at https://roxily.app/delete-account, or by emailing [email protected]. We may need to keep limited information when required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, payment records, dispute handling, or legitimate business records.

Your choices

You can update some account, space, reminder, and notification settings in the app.
You can disable push notifications through your device settings.
You can request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account information by visiting https://roxily.app/delete-account or contacting [email protected].
If you subscribed through an app store, subscription cancellation and refund options are handled by the relevant app store account settings and policies. If you paid through Stripe, email [email protected] for help with a refund request.

US privacy rights

If you live in California or another US state with a privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect about you, to access, correct, or delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including transmitting personal information over HTTPS. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Roxily is not designed for children, and no one under 16 may use it. If you believe someone under 16 has provided personal information to Roxily, contact [email protected] so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

International use

Roxily may process and store information in countries other than where you live. When we do this, we use safeguards appropriate for the service and the information involved.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify users, such as updating this page or providing an in-app notice.

Translations

This Privacy Policy is also available in other languages for convenience. If a translation differs from the English version, the English version controls.
